Everest Base Camp Trek

The popularity of  the Mt. Everest base camp trek has grown since the first expedition to the Nepalese side of Everest in the 1950s. For a trek to this part of Himalaya, with in a limited time, we have a plan of two week trek to Everest base camp. It runs directly to and from lukla. The trek follows the dudh koshi valley route with an ascent up to the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazzar. From Namche, we travel along a high path, from where we have our first good view of Everest. After that, we head toward Thanabuche Monastery, located on top of a mountain ridge. Then descend to Imja Khola and continue to the villages of Pangboche and Dingboche .

 We approach the khumbu glacier. The trek through the glacier takes us first to lobuche and the Gorak Shep. From Gorak Shep, we climb up to Kala Pather for even more spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, including Everest's south west face. We then visit Everest base camp at the foot of Khumbu ice fall before making our way back down to lukla. This is moderate trek which takes you to kala Patter, an Elevation of 5554 m. And the best time to do this trek is during spring and autumn. 

 Gokyo Cho la and Everest Base Camp Trek

This moderate level trek takes you to the foot of Mount Everest, traveling across the high Chola Pass at an elevation of 5420 m. Also included is the opportunities to trek to the summit of both Gokyo Ri (5340 m) for great view of Everest, Lhoste Nupste Makalu,  and cho oyu. A visit to Everest base camp will give you a closer look at the spectacular Khumbu Ice Fall. Beginners or Inexperienced climbers can take it, provided one is physically fit.

Annapurna Base Camp Trekking

Annapurna base camp Trekking is a moderate nature trekking  that start at Phedi, a short drive of about 45 minutes from Pokhara .This trek takes you to the foot ( base camp,4130m) of Mount Annapurna , one of the most wounderful  peaks in the world, through beautiful traditional village of Nepal’s ethic communities of the Gurung, Magar and Thkali who will greet you very warmly if you care to stop for a conversation.

 Hike continues through dense rhododendron forest with towering snowy peaks in the background. The return walk is even more interesting as the trek wind around different ridge towards Ghorepani, where you witness breathtaking views of an early morning sunrise. You will be mesmerized to watch the suns red halo seeping through glistening gaps over the snow capped peaks of the Annapurna & Dhaulagiri Mountains. The sceneries seen throughout this trek grace the landscape of the Himalayas where imagination defines the beauty of nature as an experience that can never be forgotten.

 Annapurna base camp trek will be even more interesting in spring as the whole forest along the trail turn red, pink and white with rhododendron flowers. This wonder trip can be done anytime of the year except during the monsoon (June July & August)

Annapurna Circuits Trek

Annapurna Circuit is the popular name for a 300 Km trek in the Annapurna mountain range. The trek reaches an altitude of 5,300m on the Thorung La pass ,touching the edge of the fabled Tibetan plateau The trek is a  best plan, covering  two different river valleys. It encircles the Annapurna Massif, crossing Thorag la pass [5416m], the highest pass on this trek.

The great mountain scenery seen at close quarter includes Annapurna,Dhaulagiri,Machhapuchhare, Manaslu, Gangapurna [7455m] and Tilicho peak [7134m]. En route, you pass along paddy fields and subtropical forests, view the beautiful mountain scenery, several waterfall and gigantic cliffs, and experience fascinating village life. The entire trip is so exhilarating that you will be kept enthralled day after day. A moderate to challenging trek sometime requires climbing up and down Steep Mountain paths, this trek can be done anytime of the year except during monsoon and winter.

Langtang Valley Trekking

Langtang Valley Trek is also a wonderful trek in Nepal. The trek starts with a drive to Syabrubesi. After reaching Syabrubesi the real trek begins. We will start our walk from the lower region of the Langtang Valley through small villages, farmlands and wonderful forests to Kyangjin Gompa. We will also climb Tserko Ri  at 5000 m which runs through rhododendron, and bamboo forests and pleasant waterfalls for excellent sunrise views over the Langtang ranges. Although we can also reach Langtang Valley by a day’s drive from Kathmandu, this area is still unknown to the majority of trekkers.

The lower region of Langtang borders Tibet and It was also known as an important trading route on ancient time. This place is rich in local culture, norms and values. Thus, we can enjoy and explore the scenic beauty with Buddhist culture of Tamang and Sherpa peoples. The ancient monastery of Kyanjin Gompa, which lies near Tserko adds the religious importance. The mindblowing views on this trek include Dorje Lakpa (6,990m), Langtang Ri (6,370m) and Langtang Lirung (7,245m).

 

Furthermore, we can follow the Langtang Valley Trek’s itinerary to reach the ‘Langtang Village’ as well. The devastating earthquake of April 2015 affects the valley badly but also its natural beauty remain as same as a boon to the place. However we can also see reconstruction and maintenance on affected structures. In this way our trip ends after returning back in Kathmandu, where it had started.
