Route to Ama Dablam Base Camp

Ama Dablam Base Camp Trek Itinerary

You will arrive in Kathmandu and met our company member welcoming you in Nepal. He/she will drop you to hotel. In the evening you will meet your guide and get briefing of your trek with dinner in cultural restaurant.
 

You will have breakfast and have outing with guide for Kathmandu day tour. You will visit Pashupati nath, Bouddhanath, Shyambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar square and Thamel Bazzar during the day. You can do your shopping for trek as well.
 

Depending on your flight you will reach Tribhuvan International airport. Currently most of the Lukla Flight during season will be from Ramechap. In such situation we will drive to Ramechap in private car/bus and have Lukla flight from Ramchap. 

Lukla flight is commonly taken as thrilling flight due to small plane and small Lukla airport. After your landing in Lukla you will have some snacks and your trek begins.

The bank of Dudhkoshi, suspension bridges, and forest walk takes you to Phakding, a small village on the bank of Dudhkoshi. 


 

After having breakfast in Namche you will start walk towards Manjo. Crossing suspension bridges, pine trial, mane and chorten, on the way you will reach entry point of Sagarmatha national park. In manjo. Following the forest pathm stone stairs you will reach Himalayan Thamel called Namche. The well-developed Sherpa town in Everest region offers all common facilities for living in Namche. 
 

To acclimatize your body you will rest in Namche and do hiking during day. You will visit Everest view hotel, hike to Namche view point for clear view of Mount Everest, Lhotse (8501m), Nuptse (7879m), Ama Dablam (6856m), Thamserku (6608m), and khaki (6685m) after having breakfast. 
 

After having breakfast in Namche you will follow the easiest route of Everest region to reach Tengboche. The straight path, panoramic Mountain View, pine trial, grazing yak, Ghoral, mountain goat and peaceful surrounding makes your trek amazing. You will visit Tengboche monastery as well. 
 

After having breakfast in Pangboche you will follow a thrilling path to Ama dablam base camp route with its divine beauty. You will see the long ridges on every side of Ama Dablam holding the mountain like a mother holds her child. Similarly the hanging glacier through Mt. Ama Dablam seems as the traditional necklace containing pictures of god worn by Sherpa women. The Ama Dablam has got another name called Mother’s Necklace. 

After reaching Ama Dablam base camp height (6812m) you will get an amazing view of Ama dablam and its surrounding mountain. spending around 1 hour in Ama Dablam base camp we will return back to Pangboche for a night stay.


 

You will return back to Namche from Pangboche following the same route through tengboche. The more you walk ahead Ama Dablam seems far away. The glorious view of central Himalaya Nepal, amazing landscape of Everest region energize you throughout the day.
 

You will descend down to Manjo after having breakfast. Leaving Jorsale village, Sagarmatha national park, pine trial, Hillary suspension bridge and Phakding back we will reach Lukla. 

In the evening you can celebrate the success of Ama dablam base camp trek in Lukla. 


 

Depending on your flight time you will reach airport and fly back to Kathmandu. Lukla flight occurs from Ramechap then you will fly to Ramechap. After reaching Ramechap you will drive back to Kathmandu.
