Himlung Himal is a famous climbing/Expedition peak above 7000 meters in the western part of Nepal. The mountain is great for the preparation of 8000-meter peak climbing in the future.
Himlung Himal (7,126m/23,345ft) positions at 7000m altitude within western Nepal surely above the historic Tibetan village of Phu. Himlung lies inside the Naar-Phu location in the northeast of Annapurna and northwest of Manaslu. In 1992, Nar-Phu place was formally opened for foreign expeditions and trekkers. Before then climbers should get a completely unique confined location and mountain climbing permission to enter this place. Because this place was under a restriction zone. The Expedition received a greater reputation while Mr. Akio Koizumi from Japan reached the summit of Himlung peak on three October 1992.
This place has fewer expeditions than some other mountains in other areas including the Khumbu. In phrases of popularity, the mountain climbing in Nar- Phu isn't similar to the Khumbu. The valley rivals in beauty to the extra popular Khumbu, presenting dazzling perspectives of Manaslu, Annapurna, Fishtail, and Gangapurna. The aid of the French day trip team made primary ascends in 2002 then second ascend in ten years later. According to the summiteer's experience, this 7000m top is one of the safest and largely clear-cut initiatives inside the Himalaya. The ascent of Himlung Himal through the regular direction poses no technical problems. The path leads via snow and ice with none mountaineering passages. The expedition season is in the fall and spring.
The base camp of Mt. Himlung is set at the height of 4900m. The three higher camps are set up on the heights of five,450m, 6,000m and 6,350m respectively. The ultimate part of the top consists of a steep and icy way. Generally, it takes ten to fifteen days to overcome Himlung Peak climbing and return back to the base camp. It was open to climbers in 1992 then turn into first ascend with the aid of the Japanese team in the same year. Until now, only a few groups successfully climb at its top. Although it is smooth in comparison to different peaks, ascending to Himlung Peak requires an immoderate fitness diploma. this is the first-rate peak in isolation with a wonderful explorations trek to the top.
